Weekend wind and rain has plagued chances to fly this spring. This is finally a clear, dry, and calm forecast on a Saturday morning. Bob stayed on the field to tether due to mouse damage to his trailer wiring. I lifted off and circled the parking lot for over 10 minutes before finally drifting NE. Spent as much time as possible between the tree tops until we approached the ice rink on RT111. Climbed to turn E, looking that the new W Acton, Paul P Gates Elementary School, or the Acton-Boxboro schools. Over W Action I descended to turn toward the new school, but it was REAL slow so I climbed to head for Acton-Boxboro. It was not much faster and I spotted the new Gardner Field playground just ahead. Not a real wide site with tall trees on either side, but I descended and turned N through the center and landed in the parking lot. Timelapse Video captured on a static mounted Sony HDR-AS100VR:
