Another good morning this weekend. Forecast was light winds at the surface and aloft. Possible showers later in the day so we may have an overcast.

The sky started overcast when we arrived, but there were areas of blue breaking through. At launch, we started south across the trees. By the time we reached 117 we has shifted more to SSW. Popped up to turn more west and parallel 117 for a while. Couldn't find enough turn to make Bolton so we dropped lower as we approached the Cub,Boy,Girl scout camps and turned SSW again.

As we approached RT 62 and parking lots, the low level winds also shifted to WSW. Parallel and north of RT 62, we made a low approach to a gravel pit W of 495, but the crew found the gate locked, posted, and no one around so we continued. Still paralleling RT 62, we came over a tree line and dropped into an accessible, sheltered field where RT 62 jogged north to meet us.
