Carol is still recovering from a cold so I am responsible for coordinating everything this time. Gee, that doesn't happen very often.

Forecast is for light winds, out of the SW aloft. Jim showed up at the airport and let off a pibal the quickly turned NE a very short distance above the tree tops. Jim popped up over the tree line into the pond. We held very low in the parking lot for a few minutes, then popped up over the trees and into the pond.

When we finally climbed to clear the houses, we moved NE and dropped again over the next pond. When we ran out of pond again we climbed up to chase after Jim. Caught up near Idylwilde where Jim was drifting around low in an open field.

Jim was slightly ahead and further W when we got to Fort Pond so he dropped low over the water and turned into a cove before climbing to continue NE. I dropped low over Nagog Pond and slowed to 1.7-2.0 mph. A short way up the pond, Jim caught a breeze E and dropped near the shore where his crew had access from the road. We continued toward 2A, at one point turning N toward the shore but then turning back to the NE. That is a very big pond when you are moving that slow!. Eventually got across 2A, but couldn't get enough E shift to get into the shopping center parking lots. Ended up across the perimeter road in the day care parking lot.
