Saturday is the good weather this weekend. Sunday (Father's Day) looks like rain.

Four balloons today, Adam, Bob, David, and me. I got to the airport early enough to get on the grass this time. We inflated and initially took off SE. Bob and Rudi had taken off first and went S-SW. After dropping in over the cross runway we climbed a little to turn S and cross 117 where Adam was drifting slowly in the valley. We turned a little SSE to cross the golf course and 62 on the way toward the Assabet River.

Climbed high to turn right to WSW across to Hudson. Bob made it into the Elk's again. We dropped to turn SSW past Intel and toward the Fort Meadow Reservoir. Finally spotted the High School and discovered we were too far W. Dropped low over the water to turn SSE but the speed was so slow we drifted. Gave up the idea of the school parking lot and climbed to cross SW across 85. As slow as we crossed the water, the surface wind picked up on landing so we deflated quickly.
