It's between rallies and a beautiful Labor Day weekend. Winds are forecast to be light out of the SSW so a different direction. Carlos rode up with Brian and family.

Brian was first on the field so we could set up without rushing. Rudi arrived next, then David. Got the balloon up and it was time to lead off. The early pibal actually drifted a little toward the W but we departed to the NE as forecast. RUC winds forecast a faster band between about 200 and 1000, and we found it. Climbing to clear Flagg Hill we hit our peak speed before dropping into slower winds on the other side.

Continued NNE toward K-Mart, dropping into the wet lands S of 111 to practice some more real short and more often burns to maintain fine altitude control. Couldn't see the Acton-Boxboro schools from out altitude, but knew they were close so we maneuvered for them.

Approaching the front circular drive of the High School we got a slight reverse and set down in the front parking. Rose got on board for her first flight in their balloon. Very slow NNE across the school, across Hayward Rd, and into the very back lot of Haartz Corporation. It was a nice accessible parking lot, just a bit of a challenge to find the driveway in and around to the back.
