Another beautiful and calm Saturday morning between weather systems, and this time it is sunny! Six balloons were out, Bob, Mark, Adam, Rudi, David, and me. The pi-ball went SE, by the time we got off we went E over the pond to play low before climbing to turn SE toward the others. Across West Acton Road we dropped into the marsh area and turned 90 degrees left to head N. At the north end we climbed to head E for a while, then climbed higher to turn SSE toward Maynard and the other balloons headed for the DEC Mill. As we crossed into Maynard we started playing with the altitude to refine our path to the Mill. Made a high approach along the W end, expecting the left turn down lower, but almost got too much left and ended up at the E end of the parking lot with David. Timelapse Video: |
