Excellent morning forecast for the Frozen Buns, with a major snow storm starting in the evening.

About 2 hour drive in the morning, beautiful sunrise as we arrived. Five balloons showed up this year and we spread out along the parking log. Picked up Tom and Jen as additional crew.

Bill and Patty are flying a smaller home-built now and got off first, drifting slowly south. We were next, following slowly south. At the first road south, Bill and Patty dropped low into a small park and we eventually followed them down, making a touch and go. Very low level actually carried us north for a while, but not likely to last long.

Continued south toward I691, watching the open fields/parking lots. Decided Whole Foods Distribution south of I691 was too soon so I climbed to pick up some speed and turn W toward Rt10 and other open parking lots.

Bill and Patty landed along Blacks Rd prior to Rt10. I continued across Rt10 and continued past our first opening at the Chevy dealer.

Saw wide open fields further south along Rt10, but careful investigation showed it was fenced.... The Youth Institution, followed by the Correctional Institution. I chose to land behind a closed Bowling alley to avoid making anyone nervous with an overflight.
